2024 was a year of accomplishment, but ended with frustration. I submitted The Knight, the Gnome, and the Fox, the third book in the Sleuthing with Mortals series in November of 2023. My publishers changed distributers at around that time, and it did not go well, through no fault of theirs. The poor staff had to load all their authors’ books (and there are hundreds of them) to numerous platforms by hand, which meant they slaved away all through the holidays and beyond. This holiday season was mercifully stress-free for them, comparatively speaking.

I finished and submitted the third book in the Sleuthing with Mortals series before I left on my painting trip to Naxos. And, the second book in the series, The Witch of Tut, is now available!

My “Sleuthing With Mortals” series is running on schedule. Book 1, The Turkish Connection, will launch in September—the e-book is already available for preorder. The Witch of Tut—which will come out in December—has gone through the editing process, and I’m eagerly awaiting the cover.

My next book, “The Turkish Connection,” is an urban fantasy, the first book in a new series called “Sleuthing with Mortals.”
