Classes
I have always loved to teach, to encourage a student’s progress in their chosen area of study. I have taught dance, drama, technical and business writing, and now creative writing.
Private students
I now teach only on Zoom, accepting private students. I hold a weekly critique workshop for experienced students, who attend by invitation only. Some have been with me for many years, and several have had their work published.
Individual tuition lasts for 1.5 hours, for six-week blocks.
Group Sessions
I also hold six- or eight-week courses for groups who wish to write in any genre, be it fiction, nonfiction (including memoir), or poetry. If you have a group of friends who want to write, form a group! I’ll accept a minimum of four per class. Each class lasts for two hours.
Eight-week group course: $250 per student
Six-week group course: $200 per student
Six-week individual course: $500 per student
The cost per course covers my preparation time, including the review of student work.
